The resort
Folgaria is the centre of Alpe Cimbra, the Cimbrian plateau of Trentino that brings together around 104 km of pistes across Folgaria, Fiorentini and Lavarone, nearly all threading through conifer woods and sunny terraces. It is a family-friendly area of easy to intermediate level, with snowmaking across almost the whole area and the debut, in 2025/26, of the new 10-seat Francolini-Sommo Alto gondola. You arrive via Venice (VCE), about 150 km and 2h by car via the A4/A22 and the climb up to Folgaria.

The village
Folgaria is a lively, well-serviced mountain town, with shopping streets, hotels, rental shops and ski schools, linked by skibus to the Fondo Grande, Fondo Piccolo and Francolini bases. The atmosphere is calm and family-friendly, with a strong Cimbrian identity and a good choice of dining after the slopes.
