The resort
Les Saisies is a Nordic-style mountain village at ~1,650 m in the Beaufortain (Savoie), world-renowned for cross-country skiing and biathlon since the 1992 Albertville Olympics, whose Nordic events it hosted. On the alpine side it is part of the Espace Diamant, a ~192 km area between the Val d'Arly and the Beaufortain that links six villages on a single pass, between 910 and 2,069 m. You reach it via Geneva (GVA), about 90 km / 1h30 by road, by car or transfer.
