The resort

Passo Tonale is the sunny, high base (1,883 m) of the Adamello Ski area, which links Ponte di Legno, Temu and the Presena glacier into a single area of around 100 km of pistes. The Presena glacier, at over 3,000 m, guarantees reliable snow from December into spring, and the full Presena-Tonale-Ponte di Legno descent drops almost 1,800 m of vertical. You arrive via Milan (Malpensa, MXP), ~205 km and about 2h45 by car via the A4 and Val Camonica.

The village

Passo Tonale is a high-altitude resort on the col between the Trentino Val di Sole and the Lombard Val Camonica, with hotels and rental shops lined up at the foot of the lifts on both sides of the road. It is a compact, ski-focused resort, ideal for families, with reliable snow thanks to its altitude and the link to the Presena glacier.
