The Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn is one of Austria's largest ski circuits — 270 km of pistes and 69 lifts linked on a single pass, spread across four sunny villages of the Salzburgerland. The south-facing slopes make for one of the brightest settings in the Alps, with wide, cruising terrain that is gentle for intermediates. You fly to Munich (MUC) and then drive ~2h30 on the A8/A10 via Salzburg.

The village
Saalbach and Hinterglemm are twin ski-in/ski-out villages of Tyrolean-style chalets, in a sunny valley facing the slopes. Saalbach's pedestrian street is the 'Home of Lässig' — Austria's most famous slopeside après-ski hub (Hinterhag Alm, Bauer's Skialm). Hinterglemm, further up the valley, is quieter and more family-oriented, with the Zwölferkogel funpark and night skiing; Leogang and Fieberbrunn add wider terrain and the best snow record on the Tyrolean side.
