The resort

The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser–Brixental is Austria's biggest fully lift-linked ski area after the Arlberg: 275 km of pistes over eight Tirolean villages, every one with its own gondola from the village. A sea of broad blue and red cruising runs between 620 and 1,869 m, with 80% of the pistes covered by snowmaking. Reached via Munich (MUC): ~100 min by car via Kufstein-Süd (no Austrian vignette) or train to Kufstein/Wörgl + bus.

The village

Söll is the SkiWelt's best-known base — lively, home to Austria's largest night-skiing area (Wed–Sat 18:30–21:30, ~10 km floodlit), with the Hexenwasserbahn gondola ~15 min on foot from the centre (free ski bus). A Tirolean pasture village at 697 m below the Hohe Salve, with strong après and ~80 family-run mountain huts.
