The resort
Val Cenis is the main resort of the Haute Maurienne Vanoise, with around 125 km of its own pistes between 1,300 and 2,800 m and a 1,500 m vertical drop. The area (65 runs: 17 green, 21 blue, 22 red, 5 black) suits every level, with the long, scenic Escargot descending from the Col du Mont Cenis. It is an authentic, family-friendly resort, far from the crowds of the big snow factories.

The village
Val Cenis is born from the union of authentic Savoyard villages — Lanslebourg and Lanslevillard, at 1,400 m, are the two hubs connected to the base of the slopes, with Termignon completing the area to the west. It keeps its mountain-village character, with stone houses and Baroque churches, offering good value compared with its more famous neighbours.
