The resort
Zell am See – Kaprun brings together 138 km of pistes on a single pass, the Ski ALPIN CARD, linking the family-friendly Schmittenhöhe above the town to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, which skis up to 3,029 m with guaranteed snow from autumn to early summer. It is one of the rare alpine resorts on a lakeshore — mornings on the piste, afternoons on the Zeller See promenade. You fly to Munich (MUC) or Salzburg (SZG) and then take a direct ÖBB train to Zell am See station, right in the centre of town.
