The resort

Klosters is an alpine village in Graubünden, discreetly chic and connected since 1889 by the Rhätische Bahn railway line, which made it a winter destination for the European aristocracy. Together with Davos it shares the vast Davos Klosters domain (~300 km of pistes across six sectors — Parsenn, Madrisa, Jakobshorn, Rinerhorn, Pischa and Schatzalp), with Parsenn and its long runs down to the valleys as the great highlight. You arrive from Zurich airport (ZRH) by train, changing at Landquart for the regional line that stops in Klosters.

The village

Klosters keeps a genuine, sophisticated village feel, without the bustle of Davos — famous as a winter retreat of the British royal family, above all King Charles III. The centre of Klosters Platz, with the Gotschnabahn cable car departing right next to the railway station, is compact and easy to explore on foot.
