High on the Col de Montgenèvre, on the Franco-Italian border at ~1,850 m, Montgenèvre is the French gateway to the legendary Via Lattea / Voie Lactée. Its own sector totals ~100 km (38 lifts, 88 pistes) between 1,850 and 2,700 m, with a balanced profile for intermediates and piste links to ~400 km of international terrain (Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx, Clavière). Access is via Milan-Malpensa (MXP), around 3h by road via the Fréjus tunnel and the Oulx exit.

The village
A family-friendly, ski-in/ski-out village, with the Chalmettes gondola in the centre and chairlifts at the valley floor, it benefits from reliable snow thanks to the Col's altitude. A few minutes away, Italian Clavière opens the Monts de la Lune link sector that joins the French side to the Via Lattea circuit.
