The resort
Méribel is the central base of Les 3 Vallées, the world's largest interconnected domain with 600 km of pistes shared with Courchevel and Val Thorens. Set in a wooded valley of timber chalets and slate roofs, it has immediate access to both flanks of the domain from the Chaudanne plaza. You arrive without a car: train to Moûtiers and then a bus/transfer up to Méribel.

The village
Méribel Centre (Les Allues), at ~1450 m, is the lively heart with shops, hotels and the Chaudanne lift hub. Higher up, Méribel-Mottaret (~1750 m) is the highest and most ski-in/ski-out village, the most central of the whole 3 Vallées domain.
