The resort
An authentic chalet village in the Haute-Savoie, Les Gets keeps its Savoyard mountain atmosphere in a wooden pedestrian centre at 1,172 m. It is part of the cross-border Portes du Soleil mega-domain (~600 km, 12 Franco-Swiss resorts), with a local Les Gets–Morzine sector of ~120 km between 1,172 and 2,002 m, ideal from beginners to intermediates. You get there via Geneva (GVA), around 1h15 by transfer — one of the fastest accesses in the French Alps.

The village
The pedestrian centre is lively and many accommodations offer ski-in/ski-out, with two complementary sectors: Chavannes, sunny and linked to Morzine, and Mont Chéry, quieter and more technical. Neighbouring Morzine, connected by pistes and lifts, opens the door to Avoriaz and the whole of Portes du Soleil.
